Patron récupéré sur les Enchanteur défias après environs 2 heures de farm.

Deux spot disponibles au bois de la pénombre, faire la navette entre les deux :
- Ferme des Addle (3 à 4 Enchanteurs)
- Ferme des Yorgen (3 à 4 Enchanteurs)

J'ai aussi essayé la Tour d'Althalaxx pendant 1h30 mais sans succès et plus contraignant car c'est un gros spot de quête.

Récupéré sur Anéantisseur de la Rive noire tout au nord de Sombrivage (Darkshore) dans la tour, attention mobs packé au dernier étage et repop relativement rapide, après un peu plus d'une heure de farming, j'ai eu le précieux patron!

Récupéré un lundi fin de matinée, sur Auberdine serveur PVE, j'étais seul dans la tour, pas de concurrence :)

Very inconvenient for warlocks that this recipie drops so infrequently, as these robes are needed for a warlock quest chain that ends with a nice robe that will last for a few levels. https://www.wowhead.com/classic/quest=1796

It is beyond annoying to get this recipie to drop. Your best bet is to go to the tower of Althaxx in Darkshore, and kill the high lvl enchanters there. The enchanters in Duskwood pop too infrequently, and with too many other NPCs around them.

Farmed the recipe from the Voidcallers in the tower of Althaxx in Darkshore, took about 55 kills. So not impossible to get, just time consuming and a long run if your horde.

Tried farming this pattern for my upcoming Warlock.

After spending a couple hours at the farms in Duskwood, went back the following day and logged in two high level two toons, one in the Tower and one at the farms.

I found that clearing Yorgen's Farmstead then riding to Addle's Stead and riding back after clearing that area, I could log in at the Tower to a fresh spawn. After clearing the Tower, log back into Duskwood and Yorgens Farmstead would have respawned. Rinse and repeat.

After doing this, the pattern eventually dropped after approx 2 hours at Addle's Stead in Duskwood

Easier to get the scroll off these mobs in my opinion. A lot more to kill in one area and fast repop instead of constantly switching back and forth between camps. Farmed about 5 hours worth of Defias Enchanters compared to 30 minutes of Voidcallers before getting the pattern. Voidcallers were also a better choice considering I was 36 and couldn't stock up on soul shards from the Enchanters.

There's a tower towards the northern strip of land, on the south-eastern part of the bend there of the road.

Had to kill ~30 of these guys to get it, but it did drop. I would suggest to bring a friend of some type, specially one that can heal some way, these mobs do like to run around a lot and get friends, and even if you're 40+ (like myself), that kind of damage adds up quick.

After 64 Defias Enchanter Kills, i looted a pattern.
Then i opened up the 65th (killed at same time warlock corruption). I got another.

I found it hard to get a robe on Khadgar without paying ALOT.
So if anyone wants me to make, just gimme the materials.

I spend 1.5 hours killing defias enchanters in duskwood, nothing.

I went to the tower in Darkshore, and got the pattern on my 2nd kill.

They dropped off the third Defias Enchanter.

For those without tloc the Yorgen Farmstead is in the middle of the map where the road turns south to Stranglethorn Vale. The farmstead is on the right.

The pattern runs anywhere from 5g-30g on our server. If you're on Stormrage US, send a tell/mail to Cece if you need them made.

In case it hasn't come to your attention yet, the Robe of Arcana is a prerequisite item in the level 37 Warlock class quest to make the Enchantes Gold Bloodrobe. You probably can sell a single robe off for at least 5-10g, in particular on the Horde side, as it's not a pattern which drops from mobs that are found in their regular leveling areas and hence are rather rare in their own army of tailors.

The pattern itself would probably sell for 20g+ and be one of the more successful items in the neutral AHs.

The Darkshore tower had a 60 undead mage and a 37 human warlock farming it. Didn't get ganked by the warlock, but the mage said he'd been farming there for three days. I farmed for like, three kills (I'd say about 15 minutes, minus travel), and it dropped. Nice guy that I am, I'm gonna make some for him. I'll make some for you, too, if you've got the mats.

okay, so i went to the darkshore....i didn't even SEE voidcallers or any wizards just some slithery snake water things (yes i forgot their names) and some darkstrand fanatics. i'm on medivh,i need help, i wanna gouge my eyes out but then i won't be able to play anymore.

I tried the Yorgen Farmstead and maybe it was just me, but the respawn rate was just too terribly slow. There are only three Enchanters at any one time and they seem to take forever to return.

On the other hand, the Tower is sort of the opposite problem.

I killed about 150 Voidbringers in the Tower with my 35-36 Mage (she was 35 when I started, but rested experience brought her to 36 by the time I found it), died four times, helped some Alliance folks do their quest there (or could have confounded their ability to do so if I were of a mind to, which I'm not), found zillions of level req. 22-25 green items; nothing fancy-able, but and good disenchanting fodder for my budding Enchantress.

Who happens to also need the robe which is selling for the outrageous price of >6 gold at the Scarlet Crusade Horde-side auction house.

It was so worth it getting it for myself.

People who charge that much for simple items just because they can don't get my money.

Just keep trying if you're looking for this. Don't give up. Remember that however long you've been farming, every time you loot you have the same 1% chance. You will eventually roll the right numbers.

Just a little hint for farming the Voidcallers in the Tower of Althalaxx:
Don't kill the Voidwalkers. Just walk in, kill the Voidcaller herself and run away from the Voidwalker. This is a bit difficult for the first two Kills, since you have to actually run out of the tower to be "leaving combat", but it works.

When you get out of combat the Voidwalker will run back to the spot he entered the fight. When he reaches it he simply vanishes because his Voidcallerlady is gone and he melts in depression.

When you advance in the tower it gets even easier: Just jump down in the tower. The voidcaller will follow you 1-2 floors then he turns his back. Saves a lot of time and makes you even have some respawn waiting time (for writing texts like this for example)

Edit: And whoever said that the voidcallers drop green stuff: nope, not even one, just wool, silk and cheese.

Edit2, observations: It's 6:00 am now. I started killing around 3:00. I'm lvl 39 thus having quite a fast killrate for these 28s. But as described above, they dropped nothing of use, only cloth, all the time.

Now suddenly, 5 minutes to 6 everything changed. I don't know if blizzard is having a night-farming-block built in their game oder if it's just my slower killspeed (I switched to playing one-handed mouseonly because i rested my head on the other one) but suddenly they started to drop. First a Cavalier two-hander, then healing potions, then Sanguine Armor, Dokebi Cord...it was raining items, every kill a useful drop with 50-70 lootfree kills before.

Ah, and of course after 10 hours of combined farming FINALLY my Pattern *happy smiling*

So maybe it's true and you should set your alarmclock to 5:50 am to get your pattern or at least don't farm in the night, even if you are a proud member of our horde :)

I as a bored lvl 70 mage wanted to test this drop-rate so i decided to spend exactly 1 hour each at these places (ofc the probobility kicks in here so it is just about luck).in the hour spent in ashenvale killing darkstrand voidcallers i got 1 pattern and 1 green item. And after 1 hour in duskwood killing defias enchanters i had 13 patterns and 1 green item....
i think that your best bet is duskwood because there is more to kill there and you dont have to wait as long for the mobs to respawn.

well, all i can say is i have found more Crusader and Epics farming runecloth in EPL then i have finding this thing.

Crusader Enchants found: 5
Epics found: 3
all within' 2 days of each other

well i did find it once on my old warlock within' one kill of being inside the darkshore one. now on my druid i can't find it for my priest... but i am getting lots of silk so i will be able to exploit those silly little warlocks into buying my epic mount, so to speak.

I picked up mine today from the Tower in Darkshore.As a L30 Lock it took about an hour. Failed to take on all 4 casters and their voidies at the top they were beyond my skills (my best was 3 pairs). NOte the pets dont die when their owners do. Tried leading them out one at a time but failed miserably as they were all so close, made quite a few trips to and from the graveyard.
They respawn fairly quickly so be prepared for a fight going out as well or if you are slow working your way up they will gank you from behind.They are always on the move and replenish health just when u think its over. If you are squishy clothie like me make sure u have yr healthstone / buffs employed and a few healing potions wont go astray. As you burn up mana so fast here have a few mana potions on hand too.
Or you can make life easy bring a friend / guildy.
Have to say its quite rewardeing tho if you do it alone. Such a buzz when you see the patten pop up.

i have been camping that tower for a week straight. getting 90% of all the items that mob has listed. some items i have looted were not even on thier list, others i have gotten 2 of. though i have never received this pattern.
i believe that the information stating that this pattern may be found there is false.

I'm at L31 trying to get this drop in the Tower of Athlaxx. What a pain. The Voidcallers are grouped together so closely that you end up with two and three of them attacking you at the same time, which basically equals Voidcallers:1 You:0

I did have some success killing them with a L30 Druid helping, but didn't get the drop. I got so frustrated I think I'm going to level to at least 35 before trying again.

Hey I just found the pattern took me an hour with the help of a lvl 43 friend, So if ne1 needs the robe on DUROTAN Alliance send me the mats (and a tip if you feel so generous) and ill make them for you. The mats are: 16 pieces of silk cloth (4 bolts), 2 spider's silk, and 2 fine thread. Send them to Katsume on DUROTAN, and I'll get it to you. P.S. put what the mats are for THX. ;)

Farmed from the VoidCallers. Dropped after an hour or so...twice in a minute! Did it with 44 warlock. Stacked DoT's (immolate, corruption, curse of agony) on the voidcallers, Cursed the voidwalker with curse of weakness and concentrated on the voidwalker along with my pet voidwalker...DoT's took care of Voidcaller, so it was pretty easy. If you need one made in Moonrunner server send me mail.

This has to be the cruelest joke of a drop I've run across so far.

I have farmed this drop at both locations for -days-. I've started keeping track of how many sets of Voidcallers I've had to kill at the tower and I'm well over 300 now.

Got mine last night after endless grinding in both Darkshire and at the tower. The tower is definitely the best spot for it since there are alot more potential droppers, and in Darkshire you'll have to wait for respawns after killing the 3-5 enchanters that are there. My advice is to buy the robe if possible - it won't give you any extras for making it yourself.

There isn't a single person on my server (Deathwing)
that can make this robe, that I know of. And I have spend around as much time asking around as I have killing the Dark Shore Voidcallers. Have got around 100k+ xp there with 122xp per Voidcaller and 102xp per Voidwalker.

Cleared the tower once, (took all of 3 min. with my 60 shadow priest,) waited about 3 min. for respawn, and the 2nd voidcaller dropped it.

About a week ago I spent an hours spawn camping the Defias Enchanters and got everything but this pattern. Today while helping some guildies level we got it in the tower (2nd clearing).

My advice- Do the tower.

I'm a 45 lock who has his bloodrobe, it kicks as s. I suggest u find someone to make it for u. I went thru tower in darkshore 8 times and still havent gotten it to drop. I wonder if WoW has it's conspiricies like Diablo2, somethings drop more often depending on the time of day?

I recieved the quest and went to darkshore to farm them, my third guy dropped it :)

Maybe a bit lucky, but the 17 intellect and the 10 stamina are worth the farming i think.

level 32 warlock, decided to try to do this quest! im on dunemawl, if neone wants to help me drop me a line... i was there for about 3 hours yesterday, my level 50 friend cleared the tower about 4 times, no drop... there was also a level 40 warlock there that was trying to get the pattern. said shes been there for at least 5 days and hasnt gotten it... :|

this thing suxx an im 2 poor/stingy to waste money for it at AH as it is around 4+ gold on my server... where as if i get the pattern im pretty much in the money :)

My 33 lock with his succy out farmed Voidcallers in the top of the tower for maybe 30 minutes before it dropped.

Tried farming Defias Enchanters for hours yesterday, killing close to maybe 120 of them with no luck.

I ran through this tower as my lvl 60 rogue, thinking it would have been quicker than with one of my lower level alts. The answer is - probably not. When you one shot these guys, there is a lot of downtime before they respawn. There are also only 5 or 6 Dark Strand Voidcallers in there, and they seem to be on a 5 minute timer. I got my pattern to drop on the fifth trip through (about 30 minutes in). It was the only green item that dropped. I also got:
- 35 silver (big deal)
- 18 wool (worth 43s on my AH)
- 10 silk (worth 19s on my AH - please don't ask me why wool is more valuable; I don't get it either)
- a handful of linen that I didn't bother to loot
- 6 gray items for vendor trash, ranging from 5s46g to 34s51s (grand total: about a gold)

Grand total: the pattern plus about 1g97s in vendor trash and trade goods.

Not the most efficient use of time, but certainly more profitable than spending 15g on it at the auction house.

I just got the pattern from the tower yesterday. After hours of hunting defias enchanters I finally made the trip to the tower and had the pattern within 30 minutes. The tower is a little more dangerous though, be sure to bring banish. :)

Did the Tower this morning, counted killing 14 Void Callers before it was all done (w/respawns and our terrible timing/pausing). No pattern. So now I'll camp out front and take out the lobby group and the roamings till I get a drop. Annoying.

I got the pattern once at duskwood with a char that didnt need it whilst i wasnt even farming for it, gave it to a guildie. then months later i got a char that does tailoring, i decide i want this pattern, i farmed both spots in duskwood for about 2 hours with no luck then headed to the tower, dropped from the first mob on the second sweep thru the tower. it dropped os fast i decided to stick around and see if i could get another, 5 more clearin gthe tower and i never got it again.. got bored and hearthed.

Been trying to get this bloody pattern now for weeks and have ended up in a dozen or so bidding wars, with me always getting f'cking outbidded at the last minute. The last war want to f'cking 14 gold and some prick still outbidded me at the last possible moment.

ARGH! Why is this pattern SO sort after?

I just want it to round out my tailoring for my gnome warlock, but NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO some bastard gold farmer always comes along at the last moment and ups the bid.

For F'CK SAKE, why do you camp this pattern? I have bought all the sub 250 tailoring patterns at the AH and I have NEVER had a problem with auction camping, until I tried to get this pattern.

Looks like I will have to go and farm/grind my way though endless mobs until it drops. Typical!

Oh... and to the BASTARD who outbidded me on Silver Hand at 11:30am AEST on Sunday the 5th of Feb... I HOPE YOU F'CKING CHOKE ON IT!

Completed with Lini, my lvl 44 blood elf warlock on Detheroc...
After about 3 hours in the tower, I finally went to bed. No pattern. Logged out in the tower so I wouldn't have to make the trip again. At this point, I was on a mission to get that dang pattern if it killed me!

When I logged in about 2 hours later, dropped off a lvl 29 on my 1st round clearing in the tower.

Total kills: Lvl 28 - 65, Lvl 29 - 74.
Total time: 3 hours 5 mins

Easily done with a 39 warrior and 37 priest.

i've spent the last 3 days hunting for this dang thing and have not found it yet! i have put together about 12 gold (from copper and 1 silver drops) 21 stacks of wool and 17 stacks of silk. i have had 2 blues drop but no pattern. i dont think it really exists.

I got the recipe by grinding the Voidcallers for about an hour. It was tedious, especially being on Horde & getting to Darkshore.

Here's a macro I made that I found very useful as a lock (for which u're prolly grinding this in the first place):

/petattack Voidwalker Minion
/cast Shadow Ward
/target Dark Strand Voidcaller

With ur VW out, this should facilitate ur grinding somewhat since while the enemy VW is tanked, u can DoT up/nuke (depending on ur spec) or wand the fragile Voidcallers while u absorb at least 2 of their Shadow Bolts with ur Shadow Ward buff.

Then handle the VW, loot, repeat.

If u're kicking around on the EU Terenas server on Horde side and u cba grinding for this recipe (for which I don't blame u), PM either Stromrak (my main) or Kalamitus (my lock) to get the robe crafted.

I just got this pattern for my warlock alt, name is prutser, server Kul Tiras
If you supply the materials to make it, it's free, but please don't push my time, not going to make long trips to make it for somebody else and when I am in an instance or anything
(you could mail me (prutser, dont send em to my mail please) the mats to let me make it, please DO add to your mails that its for the robes of arcanah, and if its the wrong mats I'll just send the mats to you with a note of what is missing)

Went to Duskvood, but there are just like 4-7 Defias Enchanters most at once, so I thought it isnt the best place to farm considering the droprate, but it droped after like 8 kills =)) (taking my lvl into consideration it tok 5 minutes counting the traveling time:) )

If anyone needs them on Frostmaneserver, and if you are kicking for the Horde pst Enaell or write me a mail if I am not online, you will get better price than that on AH =)(if there are some robes at all)

Killed 102 Dark Strand Voidcaller before it dropped, went with my lvl 35 rogue, wasn't that hard, especially since i am on a PvP server, and i am horde :P

I usually don't bother posting anything, but I was so happy I had to this time...

I have spent almost 9 hours farming for this recipe in Duskwood, between last night and tonight. Finally, 45 minutes before the server shutdown Tuesday morning, one of the Defias Enchanters in the barn at Addle's Stead dropped this recipe. It's funny, because I just finished silently begging God/the Defias to drop it, and there it was. I'm sorry I don't have a count of how many I killed, but 9 hours...that's a lot of Defias.

Btw, I was on my lvl 31-33 (gained 2 lvls farming this) gnome mage. I found that Fire Ward + Mana Shield + Arcane Explosion makes quick work of 4-5 Defias at once, very effective technique.

Went to Althalax with my rogue 70 and got the pattern after 10min of killing. While exiting the tower got a second one! Easy to farm.

I finally got this from the defias enchanters. It took about 6 hours total and I kept getting ganked by the alliance in Duskwood but I did it. They really do need to have a spot nearer to the horde it just isn't fair. If anyone wants one on Lightning's Blade send a tell to Melchior.

Was helpng a friend grab the docket in Addle's Stead, and I guess I killed one of the mobs because it dropped randomly. Got to love randomization.

Omg, i found this on my second kill hunting Defias Enchanters! Im so lucky, i thought id be hunting for hours and BAM there it is! =D

Was doing Svens Revenge and this dropped off of the second defias enchanter. I had a feeling I'd get one of these too.

I spent 3 hours farming this pattern in Darkshore at the tower. Level 42 warrior here, I killed that night elf at the top 26 times before I found it on one of the warlocks. I lost track of how many times I actually cleared the tower. But it was worth it for the money.

I got this after about 29 kills of level 29 voidcallers.. and I don't know how many lower levels. I got it at the 2nd or 3rd level. My boyfriend, who plays a 38 'lock got mad and left about 30 minutes. He told me to stay instead of hearth, so I did. We cleared the tower I don't know how many times, but it was worth it not to give up.

And I was playing a 36 'dead Rogue. It wasn't hard at all.

Can confirm that it drops from Anéantisseur de la Rive noire too, if you're playing Horde you might consider that since it's easier to access it that Duskwood. After research I'm positive it should drop in Thousand Needles too but I cannot confirm that since I went to the tower of Althalaxx in Darkshore to get it.

Still drops from Tower of Athalaxx in Darkshore - spend the best part of an hour farming for it on my level 32 lock. Got some good XP out of it all too.

Dropped off Dark Strand Voidcaller after roughly 40 kills. Level 31 warlock and they hit pretty hard. Pull more than 2 and you won't survive.

Beware budding tailors of Classic! This can take forever to drop. It took me just under 8 hours of farming (both Duskwood and the Tower) before it finally dropped.

y'all are gonna hate me for this, but this dropped on the fifth mob I killed after I started farming it, less than 5 minutes not counting travel time...and I'm not saying where.

Level 35 Horde warlock, took about 10 full clears of the tower, and several deaths. These mobs like to run away from you and aggro their adjacent mobs, so it might behoove you to be higher than 35. I would estimate I killed about 30 - 40 of them before the pattern dropped. Wish this was more convenient for Horde

I have killed 97 enchanters in Duskwood and haven't seen a pattern drop... do these still drop in Classic? Getting ridiculous here.

Took me 5 hours for the pattern to drop, even got a blue boe, but I can confirm IT DOES drop (farmed at Tower of Althalaxx)

Dropped after clearing the Tower of Althalaxx for around 8 times. Pretty easy as a 60 lock, just Curse of Agony everyone from top to bottom, by the time they reach you, most of them are dead. Respawn is pretty fast, too, around 5-7 mins.

I have to say that the drop rate seems a lot lower than 1%. Took five hours on my lvl 60 paladin to get this to drop for my 34 warlock. Up & down, down and up, kill everything in the tower. Make sure you empty your bags first, 'coz you'll pick up a LOT of crap...

One of those items thats a great find when you get it but frustrating when you need it. found it during the La Tour d'Althalaxx La Tour d'Althalaxx quest line sold for 100g in about 20 min on the alliance ah on Grobbulus

I farmed the Defias Enchanters in Duskwood for about an hour and a half before this dropped. Which seems to be the norm from reading other comments.

Just want to confirm for Classic, the Defias Enchanters do drop this. I tried running back and forth to both farms but after a couple of trips I decided to just hang out at Yorgen Farmstead as I was getting 3-4 enchanters there vs. 1-2 enchanters at Addle's Stead. I just stood in the south part of the field and waited for them to respawn. I was there for about an hour.

Fun story: I was farming EARLY in the morning to avoid competition and Ally. Didn't see anyone one else at all for an hour. Then, as soon as I agro 2 enchanters, a NE dru jumps me. I feared him right into a pack of mobs. Kill the dru, kill the mobs, and the recipe drops at the same time. It was pretty epic :)

It dropped on the first Dark Strand Fanatic I killed...I guess I was lucky. Their Voidwalkers hit really hard (~100 critical)

Confirmed this does drop in SOM from the tower. Got it during my 5th tower clear. Probably 40-50 kills.

Woah, this scares me! Someone in the guild was looking for someone to make the robes for their lock, so I said I would help try to get the recipe since my lock would eventually need it. I parked my hunter in the tower and would hop on it occasionally to clear the tower. I had cleared it about 7 times with no luck.

I was browsing on here for rings for my newly-20 priest and saw the defias enhanters might also drop a ring, so after clearing the tower again, I brought my rogue down to duskwood and got it the recipe on the 4th enchanter. So I hopped back on my hunter, cleared the tower one last time, then swung over to the naga area to see if one of the rares with a possible ring was up,

While there, I decided to pick a few cat figurines. I picked 5 and got two cat spawns. I almost didn't see the second one and was riding away when I saw the dot on the minimap due to track beasts being on. And the ghost cat dropped the figurine!

Now I'm scared - my luck is never this good. Something bad is probably going to balance my karma now!

Second kill. Now i still have 24 minutes left on my hearth...

2023 Update... took me about 150ish Enchanters to get this, with about 250 other enemies killed to get to them. In classic ERA, Enchanters spawn in the same spots as the Night Blades, so you should kill both enemy times to try to increase the spawn rates. Running between the two farms helps, but takes forever. Did it on Horde-Pagle, not many other people trying to get it. Of course when I finally get it the AH price drops from 50g to 25g.
