Interestingly, the quest requires you to be a tailor, but the pattern is not BoP. Thus it's possible to get this off the AH, should another tailor for some reason decide they do not want to learn the pattern.

I suppose the pattern will sell for quite a lot because of this, and the fact that most tailors will likely never know about the quest. On the other hand, those same reasons are why you can make quite a lot of gold from making these and selling on the AH.

So after completing the Undermarket quest line in the Searing Gorge (no easy task), do you need to talk to the tailoring supplies vendor in Gadget ?

After you finish the two quests you will get another quest to go talk to the guy in gadget.

ok i did the first two parts of the chain but she does not have a quest for me to talk to the goblin in BB. Is there something else i need to do first?

I'm a 52 Warlock with 291 tailoring skill....

and I did the part where i kill the dude and his elite pet and grab his satchel...

IN order to do this quest you first have to speak with Nilith Lokrav in the southern portion of Searing Gorge, by the blacksmithing tent.(40,74) She sends you on a quest to kill Shadowsilk Poachers. (Shadoweaver) These guys travel in a pack of 5 and kill the spiders that wander the northern road of the zone between Thorium Point and the entrance from Loch Modan. As a holy priest I faught them rather easily by picking them off one after another while they killed spiders. Next is the Undermarket where you have to kill Klovic his pet Clunk and get the satchel. These two are in a cave in the northern portion of the pit. If you go to the north side you can find the elevator that goes down to his level. (37,53 ish) I personally took out clunk first, i figured get the elite out of the way, Klovic is a mage with happy little fireballs, at 59 i resisted the majority of them but it was still an interesting time. Mages/melee's shouldn't have many issues with this, lower level priests i suggest you bring someone with you, i of course was not that smart :P. Once dead you pick the satchel off Klovic and go turn it in. Then you get a quest to go to Gadget and you're done. Hope this helps clear up the mass confusion i had when going to this zone to do this quest. Syductress of Lightninghoof.

Is it possible to get a 60 friend to do the quest and get the pattern to send to me? seeing how im only lvl 46 and cant wait to wear it....or is it possible to enslave the pet, loot the guy, and relase the infernal and fear him while running away? well if ur a lock i guess

for some reason the quest giver wont give me this quest (im a lvl 49 priest) I have found her she is kneeling in front of that raze infernal guy but she doesnt have a yellow exclamation mark above her head. When I try talking to her nothing happens (im at lvl 215 tailoring) I am wondering if you have to be at a certain tailoring lvl to do this quest. I am pretty sure I am a high enough lvl to be eligable maby its bugged. any help would be appreciated.

I solo'ed this quest on my 48 orc warlock, no problem. I only used one superior mana potion when I was taking down Kovic, but other than that it was just balancing seduce while I feared/DoT'ed the crap out of Clunk. Mana drain helped pacify Kovic, cuz then he could only wack me with his big stick instead of throwing fireballs.

I had low health when I finally finished Kovic off, but it really wasn't that hard. I did use DC, but I didn't use my healhstone, which would've just put me that much more on top. So now I can use this 44 item at 48, instead of getting it later like the 58-60's I've seen posting.

i want to get this pattern really bad...

im wearing a Dreamweave Circlet. but lots of ppl were asking me if i could umake this back when i was lvl 36 cuz i xould make the rest of the set. lvl 47 now w/ my warlock and if nothing else ill make a priest twink.

it just seems stupid to have a lvl44 item require lvl50+ to do, hopefully I can find someone that can make it for me, and not have to wait.

If you are looking for this pattern on the retail version of WoW (not classic) the quest to get it no longer exists. Instead you can farm Dark Iron Steamsmiths in Searing Gorge around 42,50 and they will drop the pattern. Got mine after 10 kills so the drop rate is quite high.
