It appears that this and similiar patterns can drop off any trash in TK/SSC but that bosses have a much higher/guaranteed drop rate, eg, similiar to Azuregos who often dropped BoE plans like Lionheart plans even though they were a world drop.

Remember, the plans are BoE, the item is BoP.

Why oh why do these HAVE to be BOP? If paladin tanks don't have enough gear available already, they have to limit their practical blacksmithing plans? Make 'em BOE Blizz...

Bought this recipe from ah for 190g BO. I feel lucky! :)Can't wait untill i craft and equip thease :D imo, the mats are quite ezmode. Think about it, really great epicboots that you prolly wont replace in a long time, or maybe even never repace. Best tankadinboots i've seen so far.

I hate that it's BoP...I'd much rather help out another BS than sweat paying what amounts to 1500-1700 for boots.

Going price on my server (blackrock) is about 100g. I wish i could get the prices you guys are getting for it! About 6 on the ah right now as well

1500-1700g is for leveling BS 1-375. not for the recipie. if it drops and you dont have a prot pally blacksmith in your raid just find one in a kara guild and give it to him.

at most trade it for a couple of void crystals or something.

well on my server these plans go for alot. (1200g) so when i saw them up on the ah for 595g BO i ninjad them.

My guild has run TK up to VR but have always had the group crumble before we can get a wack at him. i have only run with the guild once in TK and that was the only time the plans dropped, i was RET at the time and still gathering prot gear so i passed it off to the MT (even if i wanted them, the tank would have gotten them no contest lol)

So now i am busy leveling my smithing because i was lax and didn't think i would need to use it for something so soon. =)

Can't wait to be wearing T5 boots lol
