High Raw HPS

Provide additional damage

Much faster play style relying on less "Hard Casting"

Cons:

Restricted to melee range 100% of the time

Less effective at Priority Healing.

Can be harder to play due to the fast-pace.

Recommended Talents

Level 15 Puissance du croisé: This talent is the only viable choice for this play style. It is fundamental in getting out as many Horion sacré's and thus Lueur de lumière as possible.

Level 30 Règne de la loi: Just like a normal build this will be what you take in the majority of scenarios. The glimmer build benefit's from mastery even more than the standard build, and this helps out with that.

Level 45 : As normal, any of these talents are viable. They don't really have any impact on your performance, as such pick whatever you need for the encounter.

Level 60 : Just like a standard play style, this is your best bet in terms of damage reduced.

Level 75 Vengeur sacré: Is the best option for this build. Giving you access to even more Horion sacré's and an extra cool down. The other options have no synergy with the rest of your kit, as such should be avoided.

Level 90 Courroux sanctifié: vs Éveil: this is going to be the first real decision you make. With enough haste Éveil becomes a viable alternative giving you decent uptime. That being said most player's opt into Courroux sanctifié it gives you complete control and a massive raid cool down. Allowing you to throw out a large amount of Lueur de lumière's in a short period of time.

Level 100 Dessein divin: This will be your default choice, as you probably guessed it by now MORE Horion sacré's! It can create a large chain of proc's that can feel very gratifying at the right time. It can mess up your priority a bit forcing you to make some decisions, but remember the key to this build is Horion sacré's the more the merrier, everything else is just there to fill the time untill you can hit that glorious button.

Guide de foi: Is a viable option, it is a bit of an "hps" loss overall, but if you need consistent healing on two tanks still it is still worth taking. Keep in mind however you can get around not using it if you pay special attention to the tank who does not have a Guide de lumière on them.

Casque antiémeute de surveillant: This piece is from the Azerite Vendor, as such you will need to use your Résidu des Titans on it.

Grand heaume de réalité fantasmatique: This piece is going to be your chase azerite from N'zoth it is a higher item level than the rest of the azerite from comparable content and ilvl is very important for glimmer of light scaling.

Heaume de malveillance abyssale: This also comes from Résidu des Titans.

Binocles orthogonaux V1V-4C-1T3: These are only attainable by being an Engineer, but are a very good option.

Shoulders:

Plaques d’épaule de tétanos: Come from the Azerite Vendor, purchased with Résidu des Titans. They are a good option but remember that using 2x Décret de la Lumière won't work, so don't double up if you have this trait elsewhere!

Espauliers d’exploseur de tank: drop from Unité d'oppression aérienne CT-8 this is a lower item level option, but unfortunately there arent too many great shoulders out there for Glimmer.

Chest:

Cuirasse de protection artérielle: Is recieved from the Azerite Vendor with Résidu des Titans. This chest plate is a very good option, providing you with an extra Éveil de l’aube, or Rite de sang if you do not need the range extension.

Cuirasse de décimation du Crépuscule: This is going to be your best option for a chest it has amazing traits on each row.

Corselet de l’habitant des profondeurs: Yet again comes rom the Azerite Vendor with Résidu des Titans. This piece is bolstered by having excellent utility traits, and complimented by Incandescence rayonnante.

EssencesMajor

Vision of Perfection - Boîte de vitesses ultra-perfectionnée This is in 99% of circumstances going to be your best option for a Major Essence.

Overcharge Mana/Ever Rising Tide- Tome des marées impétueuses Due to the low mana requirement of the Glimmerdin, this Essence loses a lot of its down-side. That being said, remember spells that do not cost mana do not give stacks, this includes Frappe du croisé. However you are in most situations better off still casting Frappe du croisé during the buff's effect.

Well of Existence - Jauge d’existence calibrée With our very high tendency to overheal this can be a phenomenal major essence. Particularly in scenarios where you are over-healing content, and/or deep in farm.

Minor

Well of Existence - Jauge d’existence calibrée Glimmerdin's have naturally high overheal, as such this essence will be very powerful as a minor to make sure we are as efficient as possible. This seems to be the highest HPS of any minor currently.

Vision of Perfection - Boîte de vitesses ultra-perfectionnée is a great option as a minor in some scenarios. Keep in mind that on some fight's the damage pattern may line up such that this essence makes your wings available *too* early and you are waiting to use it anyways. In situations such as this, its value drops to near zero. Keeping that in mind, if a fight exists where the shorter cooldown allows you to line up your cooldowns even better, the value of this trait jumps to extremely important. So this will be an essence you kind of swap back and fourth on.

Spirit of Preservation - Sceau d’assistance mutuelle this essence should be a consideration when it is fully upgraded. the absorb it provides is relatively powerful from a throughput perspective and the damage reduction is just icing on the cake.

Conflict and Strife - Chaîne de côtes de domination this essence is a great option as a minor, you can have full stacks pretty reliably making it just a ton of extra secondary stats. If you are willing to PvP a bit for it I highly recommend picking this one up.

Due to how we scale primarily with secondary stats, this trinket has a ton of them. You want to look for a high item level yellow punch-card preferably with haste, such as Carte-mère performante. Peine ajournée Drops from Queen's Court (Palais Éternel) This trinket currently seems to be the highest raw HPS for its Ilvl, due to most of our casts being instant it is relatively easy to proc.

Écu de Pa’ku: Has a haste proc with it, which though slightly unreliable is still valuable.

Conque des sombres murmures: Although it doesn't have haste on it, its still just a nice passive trinket, the crit isn't amazing but still has value when it proc's.

Source de pouvoir d’Azshara Drops from Queen Azshara.: This trinket has a lot of healing potential, but plenty of downsides to it as well.

Great guide. Loving the new glimmer playstyle... It's refreshing when the Dev Team reintroduces some complication to class mechanics.

I got the trinket Shockbiter's Fang (mine is 420 ilvl)... it drops from the world boss Wekemara in Nazjatar. It's use is giving you haste and it has a 1,5 min cd.. so with using Vision of Perfection essence, this trinket lines better up than the Ignition Mage's Fuse trinket.. its duration is also 30 seconds instead of the 20 seconds the Ignition trinket has... So if your wrath is off cooldown but not your holy Avenger, then this trinket is good to use instead...

My wrath's duration is 31,3 seconds, because of Light's Decree trait and Sanctified warth talent... so this trinket is even there for my full duration of Wrath the second time I can use my wrath... exactly why I use Vision of Perfection as major and minor... which has fights that it procs quite often.

Only one little thing ... Light's Decree doesn't work as Holy ... only in Retribution.
