The only 8+ stam is the only good thing off it. But when you have full set of scarlet crusade you would own in PvP and PvE.

The mobs that drop these are scattered throughout the 'dungeon' portion of the Armory of Scarlet Monastery. There are about 30 total per run, so you can expect a reasonable likelyhood that they'll have dropped after 3 runs or so.

I laugh when i see people say warriors dont want this because they can wear plate at 40, and that hunters should get it.
First up... warriors CAN wear plate at 40... but that doesnt mean they will get plate stuff right away. Im kinda broke after buying a mount so i cant afford to just buy a whole bunch of BOE plate.
Second... how much plate IS there at lvl 40 ?
Third... look at the stats. The set adds up to
44 strenth
56 stamina
and only 12 agility
not to mention the set bonuses

what does a hunter want with these stats ? its tanking gear.

Now the Chest piece just dropped for us in SM and I *did* offer to let the hunter roll, but he passed.
So I'm a happy warrior with 2/6 Scarlet Mail and i plan to go back for more

until lvl46 when i got my first plzte in ZF and it served mee well i tell ya. And yes this is tanking gear. Hunters dont need this stuff. I mean cmon it has 'i am tank' writen all over it

I deffinatly agree that this is a warrior set there is no really good plate at lv 40 for warriors and the set would last from 40 to about 43 ir 44 because once again, there is really no good plate that warriors would get.

PS: This set is NOT for hunters and shamans, has tank gear writen all over it.

In response to the previous comment, I believe that shamans have a tree called "enhancement". These types of shamans do not need a huge mana pool (thus no need for much intellect). Since enhancement shamans are mostly in melee combat, strength and stamina are beneficial. I am not saying that this set is ONLY good for shamans, I am just stating that this is an excellent set for "enhancement" shamans once they hit the 40 mark and learn plate mail. That's my $0.02

listen to what you are saying... hunters arent tanks, they are mainly for RANGED dps. This set is great for pallies and warriors, and any sub 40 hunter that rolls need on this when my warrior is in the group i would shoot them. I dont have a problem with a hunter gettin the shoulders or helm because they are a higher level and might be worth something to them. But only after the warrior/pally got if they needed. Last time I checked ive never heard of a hunter crying about this.... play your class and have fun

let me say one thing befor a hunter rolls on this set... Greens with agil are better because 1 thing STR DOESNT UP FREAKEN RANGED ATK POWER and its not needed and hunter melee once in a while yea bull %^&* L2 pet tank and shoot? and this set barely has agil yea gg guys some of its good but it is no were near hunter gear this set clearly belongs too pally , warrior , enhance sham , and all u nay sayers that say pallys cant tank u gotta watch a few vids whateva .. PEACE!
