When I needed these as a 63 mage, right after I dropped mining for enchanting, I made a ZF run with a 62 rogue from my guild. We skipped the trash mobs and went for the bosses.

And BO is up to 12g/shard on Nordrassil, US, Alliance.

So I finally picked up a copy of Enchant Gloves - Riding Skill and discovered that I needed to farm these. As a 70 combat rogue I managed 13 in five runs and maxed out my instance limit in 55min. Below is the rough method I used. Adjust as necessary for non-rogues. :)

Mount up from the start and head to the first intersection, watching for Zerillis. With luck, he'll drop his blue for a bonus shard. At level 70, agro range for these guys is pretty much melee range, so don't bother stealthing through too much. If you catch agro, just stop and kill or vanish it off.
Break right and work your way to Antu'sul. He summons a small flock of lizards, so this is a good time to burn blade flurry if you have it.
Mount up and run to Witch Doctor Zum'rah. He doesn't always drop a blue, but will at least drop a green for disenchant.
I hope you picked up your Mallet of Zul'Farak! Off to Gahz'rilla for a guaranteed shard. It helps to kill Hydromancer Velrath so she doesn't add later, but it's not really a big deal at 70.
Whip around quick and look over the spawns in the pool room for Dustwraith. He's also been reported standing in with the Witch Doctor, so keep an eye out. He looks like a rogue version of one of the trolls, and if he drops his blue that's another shard.
Time to leave. Pass a glance to the left of the huts in the last room before the first T intersection for Sandarr Duneweaver. He doesn't have any blue drops, but will usually drop a green for disenchant, and he's on the way.
Rinse, repeat. That's three Large Radiant Shards guaranteed, with luck up to five. By skipping the event it's possible to do five runs in under an hour.

i have seen them so high as 38g for two on khadgar:)

but they get sold for about 10gs now, even tho i still find that uncomfortably expensive:/

but i dont enchant much, i just dis, and stack up my Bank with shards and dusts...;) there's no profit in enchanting, people wont let you get that:'(

A lot of items can be made w/ leatherworking and then broken appart for this shard. So its accually pretty easy to get it :)

I use my level 300 tailoring to get my +22 int enchant. It's much cheaper becuase you don't pay for the mats, you get them anyways for killing things.

Yes ZF is the way to go considering Farming Large Radiant Shards. On my Server they are very pricey starting from 10g+. In 1 run of ZF i got about 5 Shards and i just try not to agro goin on my mount considering im lvl 65 warlock! anyway hope this has helped and u will make alot of money! just 1 run took me 35 mins not agroing everything. and also DE the greens to lvl my enchanting and sum DE i got greater Eternal Essences x6 wich go for 10g each so another 60g there...if your lucky u can get about to 110g! in 1 run if u know wat to do lol anyway cyas and happy farming

You can get 5+ Large Radiant Shards in one run. Shadowpriest Sezz'ziz, Chief Ukorz Sandscalp, Antu'sul, Zerillis, Witch Doctor Zum'rah and Gahz'rilla.

i have gotten 2 of these after like 5 tries (thanks to the mod Enchantrix i can know in what will the item DE into) i sell thm for 7g-9g in blackhand server US

Black Mageweave Headband is very good for getting shards fast when u need em. ( atleast on my server : Bladefist: I found it to be 1 out ove 4 disenchants of the Black Mageweave Headband gives large radiant shard, Hope u find this usefull

DE a Dreamweave Circlet (Lvl 45 tailored blue). Drops a LRS almost every time (for me anyway) and the mats to make it are the most common and cheapest I've found among all the other blues to DE for the item.

You can get one %100 from a Green Lens, which engineers can make.

Guaranteed: Dreamweave Circlet. Better off buying the shards unless you have the mats for the hat laying around.

Rarely: Cindercloth boots down to Black Mageweave Shoulders (if you do any pattern between those two choices, you have a "chance" of getting a large radiant shard. The shards will generally come from weapons, though).

Best bet: instance DE runs. I'm still searching for "the instance" and I'm thinking it's going to be somewhere between RFD, Ulda and ZF.

I'm trying to remember which mod I have that predicts the DE chances of given items. I believe it's FWG Disenchant Predictor. Give it a whirl. 8)

anything that is level 41-45. I got one from Black Mageweave Headband for example.

I know you "can" get one from 41-45 things, but after many, many, many tries I've never gotten one (black mageweave headbands, shoulders and boots at least 50 items)... I know Green Lens will yield one. What else? For large glowing there's Icy Cloaks and Gem-Studded Leather Belts (probably others as well). Anything a tailor or leather worker can make that "will" turn into one?

I sent my priest a rare item and he disenchanted it (cassandra's grace i believe) and this is what he got. My priest is lvl 14 and his enchanting is at 40.

zf is a great place to farm/ stack these... they only sell for abot 4-6g on thrall alliance server
