These items are used to clear https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/spell=16468, if you do not have the ability to cleanse poisons yourself.

These have a despawn timer (they 'rot' over time).I can't remember the timer, exactly, but it was probably less than an hour.

Do not stack new sacs on old ones, either, because they will inherit the old stack's despawn timer.

cures 1 poison? I don't get it...and it drops at a 50s area. has anyone tried it?

These are super handy for Viscidus in AQ40. It is possible to farm these up and throw them on an Alt, have the Alt log until your Raid is fixing to pull Visc, summon the Alt to your location within the Raid, distribute these to your Raid and viola. You now have a near painless means of trivializing Viscidus completely. Costs no gold and takes little to no time to implement. Plus it has no cooldown to boot.

I highly suggest Raids make this LBRS farm part of their regular raid night at least once every so often; say after fully clearing BWL + MC Binding runs, throw two to three full 10-man runs (or even six to eight 5-man groups) at this and gather between 1,000 - 4,000 of these very quickly. If someone has a level 1 Alt they don't mind leaving at the entrance of AQ, then they can hold onto those for a long time. Simply log on, trade them to someone in Raid, immediately log off and those 1k+ Sacs can last you several weeks, possibly even months.

When you trade these to another player, the duration will say 1hr. That is a UI bug, if you relog it will give you the accurate number.
Afaik, the only way to make these last longer is to trade say 49 lower duration into 1 higher duration.

Edit: The duration does not run down while logged off.
