Very nice trinket for any tank, works especially well for a AE grinding Paladin. Easy to get, and usually by the time you get some 'real' trinkets, this is somewhat obsolete anyway.

Is nice for a non feral druid using bear to get something done. Have kept this around even at 70 and it procs all the time. More than i thought it would. Being balance/resto its nice to get extra armor when Im not spec'ed for that :)

I like the look of both trinkets but tbh at lvl 49 I have 7200 armor and its only getting better, if you need these trinkets then perhaps you need to rethink your gear, yeah they are nice but I dont wipe unless its a silly mistake and these trinkets are not going to stop that happening.

I think perhaps ppl get all goo goo over a few seconds of "press this button to save your ass" but I if you have a good healer you dont need these at all.

I am saying this because everyone always writes about how much you "must have this!!!" but they never write if than can actually get by without the item just fine.

Just wanted to point out to feral druids out there that this trinket does not receive the bearform armor modifier.

For a protection pally aoe grinding / tanking:

Get https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/item=17774 from the Mara quest, and since you will be struck in combat a lot, and no internal cooldown, its safe to say that https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/item=17774 is pretty much a static +25 all stats trinket and this trinket is a +350 armor trinket.

They work VERY well together for a prot pally. Other tanking classes will benefit, but tankadins to the most multi-target tanking.

I use this on my 52 lock to help some lowbies out in DeadMines, WC or Stockade etc.... I just run in, DoT every mob untill end of instance... The extra 350 armour DOES makes a big difference for me and it procs quite often since 10 mobs are hitting me constantly; Most of the time I drink a Protection Pot aswell.. Don't think it will make a big difference at level 65+...

Can anyone tell me if this can multi-proc stack?

I have a twinked 49 prot paladin, who does instancesolo runs up to SM. if it does, it would be worth my while to grab it, I believe.

no it doesnt go to 1500 or what ever the bear mode calculation is it is 350 bear

A good pre-BC tank trinket. The more mobs that are hitting you, the better this becomes.

Yeah. The extra armor is awesome - and not only it is awesome, but attainable as early as 38! It is a good twinktrinket, but for druids, the armor DOES NOT multiple in bearform.

As far as I know, this trinkets proc does multiple - the health - in bearform.

Just to clarify this here, the extra armor provided by this trinket during its proc does not benefit from the increased armor contribution of Dire Bear Form, as such a proc that happens in Dire Bear Form still only increase your armor by 350.
