Pre-2.0 the proc on this went off a lot more in PVE than in PVP. Post-2.0 it seems to be proccing a lot more in PVP too. Either way this is a really nice weapon. I got this for my pally, seeing as most warriors opted (pre-2.0 of course) for the Obsidian Edged Blade (https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/item=18822) if they were in MC.

Some people in my Guild call this the Vendorshaker, but I like it.

It looks pretty cool and it procs often enough. It has a built-in purple glow, so even if you don't have the cash for the "leet enchants" you still get the look.

Maybe I like it so much because it was my first epic. I didn't even bid dkp on it, my buddy just threw it in my inventory saying "Panguan, you're getting an Earthshaker because you're a n00b". "Being a n00b is the best!"

Just some insight to the post above about the proc.

The point of the proc is not to get free swings, the proc breaks casting, and afaik anything that takes time, channeling, casting, bandageing and so on, it also procs EVERY mob close by, I have had it proc in a zerg of 10-12 onyxia whelps, all stunned. =)

Mass-pvp, well... break the casting of all close by, even if it's just a chance, so worth it. I love my ES.

The Knockdown effect on the earthshaker is considered a stun when Judging Seal of Command. Valid as of 1.9.

One of these just dropped for us the other night, and none of our Paladins or Warriors wanted it.

Myself, I am a Moonkin druid, so I took it and am planning on putting on +22 spirit. The idea being that when I run OOM I can run in and start pummeling away with the thing and Omen of Clarity. At 5000 Hp buffed and 7500 armor, the random boss cleaves and crap don't bother me much, and at 3 pieces of Cenarion and full improved thorns I reflect back like 42 damage every time I am hit anyway...

Seems pretty effective to me.

So, roll on Moonkins, just be nice and let the actual melee classes have first go.

Being an MT for our raid, I usually don't get a shot at epic 2 handers but what the hell, I say and snatched it up the other night. Eh, its ok. Being full protection spec, I am sorely lacking in the instant attacks that would really make this useful, but I uncorked a 3185 execute crit on a Molten Destroyer Sunday, so that was nice considering I have no talents in improved execute and all that.

I thought it would be great for soloing but its only marginally better than BL Defender + shield...do more damage, but take more damage. I got +15 strength put on it and am shopping for a more damage oriented set of gear. Yet to try any PvP with it.

this one has quite powerful dps, 62! I mean, it has 0.1 more dps than Manslayer of The Quiraj, not more dmg... but more dps :D Got this one from magda last night. FINNALY I can leave my ols Seeping Willow to the vendor, 7g :D:D

Just got it yesterday off magmadar.

Seems to proc decently often, about every 10th hit or more. As mentioned before, its just like a tauren war stomp.

During one fight when i tried it out, against 4-5 lvl 30ish elites, it procced so often that i got 'Immune' message 3 last times (Apparently they got immune after 3-5 procs). That was funny, it proc'd like every 2nd hit. (Seems to proc off whirlwind/hamstring/ms and so on too).

Too bad it looks very silly, Just like a normal wooden maul thingy, with a purple glow.

btw, This replaced my Doomulus Prime. I think the higher DPS and nice proc covers the stats loss. (This has a bit higher maxdmg tho it is 0.2 secs faster)

EDIT: Seems to only stun mobs/players in front of you. Odd. And btw, stuns only mobs/players within melee range.

Yea so im with the Raiders on CC ally, and free rolls just keep on flowing, and then this sweet number joins the free-for-all and since no warrior nor pally wanted other than me, i got it. looking to utilize it PvP, im sure if it procs often enough this weapon is ideal for AB. :P pally ftw.

It's good but, TUF is much better.. +22 AP is just plain sucks; PLZ PLZ amp this up to at least 40 i say 56 or 60. but has 3 sec stun which for me procs more often that most say to me. TUF stats kill this *!@# in the dirt. 1 more dps isn't much, and TUF is slower which means more dmg, slower the better. Yes I see like a hater TUF is better i have both, but Earthshaker is still a MUCH better weap from ur old doomsaw/IBS/Willow/Barb blade if your a pally dont know bout war.

PS: Earthshaker is much easier to obtain in my mind plus might pick a OEB intstaed :P

Love this mace. It procs quite often, and it has decent damage. The effect is like the tauren war stomp, and leaves a patch of crushed ground underneath you for a moment.

The new patch comming is upping this weapon -- finally before it was only slightly better then blackhand doomsaw which is easily attainable from UBRS.

New Stats:

175-263 Dmanage Speed 3.50
(62.6 dmanage per second)
Requires Level 60
Chance on hit: Knocks down all nearby enemies for 3 sec.

Went on the test server, it got a new visual. I wouldn't say its much better, but at least its bigger, and has a nice glow. Basically, take a low level HUGE woden mace, accent it with some nice gold and stuff, add purplish-blue glow, voila! new Earthshaker.

They must have changed the proc rate lately. I picked this up last week, and have run hours and hours of battlegrounds with it. It barely procs at all. Maybe once out of 100 hits. I do much better with The Unstoppable Force.

Yay its a dandy weapon. It procs from bout 1.5-3 for me does bout 500 average and double command crit can go as high as 2220.

Got this last night in MC. I had Ice Barbed Spear before and now this... i lost some stats but gained 10 dps. Too bad it looks gay =\
I won it for minimum bid dkp so that was nice.

This does NOT "proc..a lot"

4 AB matches and 5 duels with another pally with the same weapon and i've only seen it proc twice. That's twice in over 400 swings. Seems like patch 1.8 nerfed everything but the druids hurricane.

Got this Hammer on our MC run last night. I think its a real nice Shaman weapon I now have 86 DPS and I am doing crits of 2500-3000 with Windfury wich is really nice in PvP or farming.

DPS including +AP is 64.142... BTW :)
Never really saw the point in +AP on 2Hs, it's just a pure DPS increase :P

Average damage is 224.5 which is actually 3.2 more than the Arcanite Reaper...!(But no 130 extra HP)

Got this not too long ago 60 Paladin respeced to PvP and did alot of 4k+ reckonbombs for about 500+ each and about 800+ crits with about 5 or more hits coming out and SoC really good wepaon funny when proc come out during PvP too

Just got this wednesday night thanks to my guild Darkness Descending/Bloodscalp.

I went from using dreadforge retaliator with crusader on it to this. The difference in damage went up by about 100 and i havent put crusader on my new toy yet. the proc for the stun effect is only like less then 20% from doing a few test but my crit went from 5% to literally like 30% of the times. I dont know if its a bug with the weapon but im a pally and the only two things that give me any kind of crit bonus is reiver claws and blackhands breath. thats only 2% crit bonus. Regardless, this is definitely my final 2h weapon out of all of onyxia/azuregos/kazzak and Molten
Core.

Ohhh and the graphics on the weapon really SUX considering how powerfull it is. its soooo unintimidating lol.

I got this ugly @#$% some months ago on Stormreaver, 60 Orc Warrior.
It procs, alot.
It's all-in-all a pretty good mace, for both Shaman and Warrior i believe, maybe even Druid (whos Feral spec'd).
Im now just waiting for Eye of Sulfuras to drop, so i can get a friggin better looking weapon! :)

Marteau visqueux the multiple posts, but it looks something like the item linked above, but with all the metal parts in shiny gold, and the head of the mace has a glow on it. It also looks a lot larger.

Me and my friend have seen this drop off magamadar and we think its not too good seing you can get weopons with stats that are better for HP and DMG wise i wouldnt waste DKP

And a pally got it. I was tempted to roll on it, but I would have to respec to arms/MS to make use of it and give up tanking. Oh, well...

We've had 3 epics drop all 3 times we have downed Mags, so we can't complain at all. Just would like to see Might drop a little more and Felheart a little less.

I used this 2-H Mace for around two months, and I was very happy with it. It never gets enough credit. The proc on it, is sooo sweet. TUF stuns the target for 1 second. This knocks down enemies(stuns) them for 3 seconds. Plus this has more DPS than TUF. Don't pass this up warriors! It is a very good 2-H mace. Comparable easily to TUF

Which is better? I have Earthshaker and its awesome, but I'm finding that some raidmates are dealing more damage than I am... should I pick up the OEB?

And what enchant is better, +9 or Crusader?

I read the first few posts about it being warrior or shammy #$%^....damned horde this is pally weapon, shammys dont need to stun and warriors do better with other weapons. got one for my pally and now i can do the following 1.)beat most warlocks in 3-4 hits depending on proc 2.) beat mages same way but takes a bit longer 3.) SOMETIMES beat warriors and shammys depending on theyre gear (full epic vs full element or valor)

Just got this for my druid...Not the best weapon for a druid but it was that or it was going to get disenchanted as none of the shamans wanted it...I hear the next patch will give you the weapon procs for equiped weapons in forms...One can only hope!

Got it the other night in MC ( Obvious I know but.... )

This thing just WTF PWNS any weapon I have or have had!

The proc goes off like crazy! 3 consecutive procs in ST today and when it goes off I being a Shaman have time for a nice BIG heal.

Now all I need to do is farm Scarlet Strat for them pesky orbs and it will get even better!

I worked out that if 14 attack power = 1 dps then when my Windfury goes off and I get my 811 extra attack power the dps shoots up to 154.7 dps!

Now that has to hurt whoever I am pounding with this baby!

Mages and Priests in ONE HIT! ( with a WF proc of course! )

Now all I am wondering is if I make myself some Black Dragonscale Armor for the extra attack power how high can I push the burst damage on this baby!

It procs... a lot. Sometimes I get 3 procs in one fight! I was fighting a pair of pallys with it and they kept getting stunned by one of 4 things:

1. Earthshaker
2. Full Valor 1% chance to stun
3. Mace Specialization proc
4. Warstomp (woo tauren!)

After a respec I was in WC with a guildy skilling up with a guildy alt. I learned the Proc on this thing does not have any aggro. This decreases its utility as a tank weapon.

I attacked a raptor with another close by but pathing away. Both raptors fell down and had the swirlies above their head. after 3 seconds the one raptor continued to path away from me.

This is the best 2H mace in the game for a PVP Shaman. Damn good for a PvE DPS weapon.

Actual WoW Classic test.
I used script to track timestamps of stun procs, so time offsets exact.

One combat fight on "training dummy", default attack speed.

Proc: AoE stun for 3 second with 5m radius aroud you.
Fight length: ~26 minutes.
Attacks count: 498.
Procs amount: 24.

Time in seconds. "+" means offset from previous timestamp.
Combat log:
0. Combat started.
20. First proc.
+63. Proc.
+45. Proc.
+11. Proc.
+59. Proc.
+53. Proc.
+56. Proc.
+152. Proc.
+13. Proc.
+262. Proc.
+49. Proc.
+251. Proc.
+27. Proc.
+17. Proc.
+66. Proc.
+26. Proc.
+49. Proc.
+61. Proc.
+20. Proc.
+47. Proc.
+81. Proc.
+27. Proc.
+56. Proc.
+4. Proc.
+0. Combat ended.

So you can expect one proc per minute, but without any guarantees, and it can not proc even for minutes, or proc of two attacks in row.
Feels like valuable proc with fine timer. So this weapon pretty good for PvP.
