Dont forget the mail that they send to you after completing this quest with an item that lets u summon harvest food.

Other than the rep recieved for this quest, as a caster its worthless. The food conjuring item has a 12hr cool down for 4 pieces of bread! Worthless. But the Harvest Nectar that is available when this quest was active was the shiz.

Its nice. basically you get 4 pieces of 2% health per second bread.
every 12 hours.

sure thats a long cooldown, but still its 4 free food every time you login.
if you're not a mage, this is very nice.

Today, I spent more than an hour and completed the quest as a Blood Elf, but it did not register as completed in my Quest Log. I did all the correct steps. I opened a help ticket and a GM told me that there is a bug in the game that won't allow Blood Elves or Draeneis to complete the quest. It is a known bug that is being worked on.
If you are a Blood Elf or Draenei don't waste your time on it this year (2007).

What does it do?

This is a seasonal quest to go play tribute to Grom's final resting ground.

Fly to Splintertree Post and take the southeast road. You'll come to a fork where there's plenty of demons inhabiting a Valley. The road that heads south from the two rivers will take you into the valley.

You'll find a huge stone marker surrounded with totems/offering at 83, 79. It will show on the map like a circle at the end of the road in the bottom right corner of the map.

Use the offering and return to the NPC at the Orgrimmar Entrance. You'll be given 6600 XP for the turn-in.
