actually its a critical item for a rouge quest.

This is the last part of the new Rogue quest, When your done in Sunken temple you get this key to gain your rewards. But the step before that is hard, killing all those "forest Oozes", takes about 2-3 hours to do that quest, and alot of horde everywhere, Also the spawn time of the Forest Oozes is very poor, like 6-7 spawns, and the stuff you need for the quest drops about 1 every 10 min, if you know where to grind these Oozes.

if you grind the southern part of the northern side, back and forth its a bit easier and you dont have to worry about the cliff breaker elites jumpin in, just the occasional bird thingy, but, pfft there cake aye....

if you're going for the oozes you should pick pocket them before you kill em, sometimes you'll get 2 from the pick pocket and 1 from the kill, makes it faster.

I got all my fragments from the flying beasts (white ones and blue ones). There are tons of them flying all over the area from level 49-52.

I did not look for, see or kill one forest ooze for a fragment. The drop rate was fast and did not have to travel as far NE to get it.

Forget the oozes, kill the flying white beasts and blue beasts. Took me only like 30 minutes at most.

Remember the quest did not specify it had to be oozes (only any beast) and too many people keep saying kill the oozes, which is not needed

go over 74 22 and all the are around and kil the chimaeras the ooze the all the mobs think drop rate is about 40 % get it very easy

I don't realized that i could pick pocket'em because they don't look like an humanoid mob... You have to be there about 1-2 hour to collect them. I was there about 2 hours and 15 mins to complete the Q good luck to all of u!

The drop rates are too low but not only the oozes have drop rates, and the dragons about 49-52 lvl have both and higher drop rates. The only that sucks in the dragons is that you can not pick pocket'em and you can loot only 1 Q item (if u are lucky and it drops it)but they have lower respwam time.GOOD LUCK TO ALL OF YOU!

Ok, your best bet is to kill anything that walks in Azshara for the quest drops. i personally would go after the Moosehoof Coursers. quest items drop about 1/3 the time and since they are neutral mobs you wont aggro too many of them. plus i got some nice unexpected drops off of them :) took me about 15 minutes to get all the quest items. good luck.

Pay close attention, if you kill Morphaz you have to be alive to be able to get the quest item key (at least that's how it worked for me, after several attempts to kill him failed). I learned this the hard way. As a level 50 rogue I was able to stealth/distract my way in all the way into the instance to Morphaz (not easily), but obviously I had to bring a friend (59 rogue) to do most of the killing. I certainly did help to kill Morphaz with my Death Ray and Shrink Ray.

It was really helpful to split the two bosses up. We never did succeed at the distract/vanish/shoot trick to get only one to aggro, but by splitting them up with distract (not too hard) we had 15 seconds to attack one before the other got close enough even though both aggrod at the same time. So that really helped. And then being rogues we could vanish after one was killed. Then it was easy enough to kill the second by himself. The second one sometimes drops some decent loot.

I recommend a team of rogues, no other class, go do this quest together. (Besides, this is a rogue quest.) That way you never have to worry about the other mobs. Bring potions, use poisons, and use trinkets if you can. But the nice thing about this quest is that you can stealth right to the bosses without battling anything. That's why I like rogues. :-)

AFAIK will not drop until Phase 4 of Classic, along with Zul Gurub and Arathi Basin. If anyone can confirm otherwise, please do. Thank you.

...So no Whisperwalk Boots yet, Rogues. You're stuck with the level 42 green +1 Stealth boots til then.
