The "to summon and dismiss" part indicates that it's like a non-combat pet. It doesn't fight for you, it just fights other engineer's robots.

I bought it on the AH for 100g, but I regret it.
The pet is microscopically small (smaller than the smallest critters).
It doesnt move, or follow you around.
It has a 3 minute cooldown.

It's as big as a frog, and there is actually a tiny guy in it, but it's so small you need to zoom in all the way to see it. It's basically one of the robots from Gnomergan that has been made tiny. Extremely underwheming as the other posters have mentioned

These now bind on use according to the 2.3 patch notes.

" The Crashin' Thrashin' Robot is now Bind on Use rather than Bind on Acquire so non-engineers can use them as well."

Maybe they'll finally be interesting.

It says 'will fight other fighting robots'... I wonder if this includes the Clockwork Rocket Bot from the Winter's Veil present... Right now, the bots don't seem to be able to fight each other, though, and I've never seen a live crashin' thrashin' one anywhere...

I have seen this thing on my server (Perenolde) at 300-500g.

Market price aside, not only an item exclusive to Engy use (which is true for most Engy made items) , but also BoP to that Engy.

And...Global Drop.

Some days I'm convinced that Blizzard hates Engineers. Then they come up with nifty-cool things like this and I know they love us again! ...Then I look at drop rates and where to get 'em and am just flat confused... Time to check out the AH and hope I get lucky! Hope I can get the schematic by Xmas, 'cause I intend to open up Risukage's Toy Shop, and I'm only missing this and the Lifelike Toad. Frivolous hobbies FTW!

I really hate posts like these but I just had to say I just bought this off the AH for 5g BO :)
The materials are a piece of cake as well. Yay! Me is one happy engineer! Hopefully this will keep me entertained until our beloved profession gets its overhaul.

This drop should be epic in quality because the drop rate is so low. If you want it, be prepared to pay a few 100g for it. Unless of course you are very lucky.

Currently NOW the item is not BOP someone sold it to me for 40g which is cheap if u have a 70 and it was item not schematic so now there is no BOP problem.

I myself just purchased one of these.There were 4 in Ah going from 100g-135g.I bought the 100g one.Not too expensive and i thinks its worth it, these robots are fun and i love being an Engineer.
