To clear up one common misunderstanding about this and many of the other bits of leatherworking gear:

They do *NOT* require 350 leatherworking to wear. They only require 350 leatherworking for the *set bonus*.

I think it's bugged, but when I wear this belt I get a lot more stamina than I should. I have a gem with 6 stam on it, and the socket bonus of 4 stam. Yet when I wear this, I gain 28 stam. I first noticed this when I put my Marksman's Belt on (from Halaa) and my health/stam didn't change.

You can get all 3 of these recipies from the Quartermaster in Honor Hold. Belt requires friendly reputation with honor hold. Bracers and Chest require honored.

like all trade created things, judge it by other items on the AH to compete, check the prices of the matts to make accordingly, and so on.

You don't want ppl to check up the matts and find that your overpricing it.

I sold the belt for 90g, seeing as primals on moonrunner are going for 5-20g each.

Slightly less with bracers, 70g

Chest is alittle more, around 120g.

Seriously, some tard on my server is trying to get 280g for this, if I had the money I'd buy it out because I need the AP, but WTF?
I'd say 190-200g is a fair enough price, but nearly 300g is a joke.

I can see why the cost seems ridiculous for primal air. To make this belt and to sell as profit seems a bit fleeting to me. I'll spend the money to make it for myself, but definately not for an income. Have fun!

.....of farming to make 6 Primal Air's while I quested in Nagrand, but it was worth the headache. Besides, why pay 27G for one(avg. price on Ysera) when they're out there for FREE? 120 motes to go to finish the other 2 pieces...../sigh. Have fun out there.

I agree with the previous poster. Primal airs also cost 30g on my server and this belt takes SIX. Also consider the time you took to farm the mats. I may keep this baby for myself because I know as soon as I put it up in the AH some other LW will put his (or hers) up for less than the fair asking price of $280.00 (on my server). It is a shame that leatherworkers can not agree on set fair prices for crafted items but I guess that is capitalism for you.

Does anyone know where it is discussed what gems would be good for this belt (and for the other two pieces as well).

With the literal plethora of gems to choose from (AH) it's almost like a being kid in a candy store.

This bloody thing cost me 170G and I'm as sure as hell I won't make a profit from this.

Primal Air x6 = 120G AT LEAST

The other stuff you can get it relatively cheaper,but the set bonus being only applicable to LW's with a skill of 350, other LW's can just make their own damn set...

If you're lvl 60+, this is a big money loser. When you're 70, farm for Motes yourself and don't make this set unless someone specifically asks you to. Sell the Primals or keep them for future patterns.

Blizzard should do something about this. This being BoE, it was made to be sold but the set bonus becomes useless for anyone who is not a LW. You can't sell to someone what they can make themselves. If this was made BoP, at least make it a specialized Dragonscale-Leatherworking-only or something.

Cost outweighs selling price. Sad, broke now after making this. Hope it sells.

Got this set by farming the primals myself, which is not too hard as an enhancement shaman with engineering as profession. Gas clouds in Nagrand give an average of 4 motes of air per cloud.

Pure and simple, this thing is a piece of @#$%. Why? Takes a lot of primal air to make, and there are at least 4 other blue belts that drop in instances that are much better then it. The only good thing about it is that it has sockets for maybe some flexability, but seriously why would you pay that much for a blue item anyway. Most specs may as well pick up the belt you get from Halaa tokens.

The above poster is just mad cuz he tried to buy it and couldn't afford it, lol, my best guess. It's a great belt if you don't do a lot of instances and can be made even better with the sockets ^^
