This item is NOT offered with the other Second Sight head pieces. The only cloth hat from that reward is the DPS 'mage' one. I don't know where to get this version, but I'd sure like it.

Priests got ripped. The healing headpiece isn't even available at quest turn in. Every other class gets a tier2 look-a-like helm...but healing piece was removed at some point or so it appears.

That would be the collar of command, not this Second Sight item... wouldn't make sense anyway that an item used in quests in Shadowmoon would drop in a completely unrelated instance.

This item was removed from the game from what I've hard and from what I can tell. Priests like myself got the short end of the stick.

Tier 2 = Transcendence btw..

Just got this head the other day, solid stats and healing. Only lacks the mp5. Just put the head enchant will do. This and https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/item=29174 are one of the best healing heads on 5 man instances.

More likely, this is a reward from a different quest and they used the words " Of Second Sight" for it by mistake. I didn't see this when I finished Gorefiend either.

I doubt you even can get this hat in game at the moment, it's ItemLevel is 6 higher than the other helmets and this one is even missing out the 3 sockets (and the Equip buff).

I just completed the Second Sight chain, and this item was not among the rewards. I believe it does not currently exist in-game.

A few points of interest:
notice it is missing both the Equip: Allows the bearer to see into the ghost world of Shadowmoon Valley. Only effective in Shadowmoon Valley. and the sockets. It also has Requires Level 70, meaning that it's not a quest reward.
CONCLUSION: it is currently in game, but is a drop.

I don't know where probably where the poster above me said, but of course its a drop, BoP and has a lvl requirement, also there is no location in thott, and anyone with this that has the mod that adds info to thottbot and other similar sites would have seen the vendor its bought from and added that info at the same time.

Basically quest rewards do NOT have lvl requirements.

I really dont get how these guys have managed to lvl to 70 and not know that quest rewards do NOT have lvl requirements on them.

All i can say is E-Bay must have made a fortune with all these guys buying their characters from them, and ptarjan is right, Watcher's Cowl is so much easier to get.

On my atlas loot addon it says that it dont drop from first boss in heroic auch... any1 can confirm it does?

they dint remove this from the second sight quest, it was never an option to choose it, this drops in auchenai crypts, not a reward from SMV quest, if u looked above, where it tells u where it drops then u would kno that instead of askin stupid questions

i think blizzard needs to change teh name of this, so it doesnt have second sight in it, this can be confusing :)

yes, some quest items do have lvl requirements =P
one of the first quests in Hellfire for horde gave me wanderer's Stitched Trousers
that requires lvl 60 and I was 58 when I got it
