If you plan on getting and using this item, i suggest you to look at Earthwarden's Coif (https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/item=28181).

Socketed Earthwarden gives 10 more attack power for the loss of 1 agility. And also a nice minor speed run bonus.

Earthwarden:
70ap, 7mp5, 29agi, 25sta, 18int (16ap red gem and 20ap/speed meta gem)

Malefactor:
60ap, 7mp5, 30agi, 24sta, 18int

defflently worth doing the quests hunters get a sweet eyepatch made of mail! never seen mail eye patches now and then bout time blizz made something special for hunters.

Shaman wear mail too. I don't know why you would think this is made for only one class, as it has everything an enhancement shaman AND hunter needs. Anything that adds to 4 stats is gonna be a hot item. I'm just glad we don't have to roll for it.

IMO the stalker's helmet of second sight that comes from quest chain in SMV is slightly better, but only because it has sockets, is a close thing tho

This is better then stalker's helm if u dont mind the -stam, otherwise its better, IF u have gotten revered with CE u can now get the +34 ap and +15 hit rate enchant to helm, which makes this thing surpass Stalker's helm by quite a bit of AP, if u socketed ur stalker's helm to have +ap and +stam per gem

This is a cool eyepatch, but it is NOT better than stalker's helm of second sight.

Mine is gemmed with 3x (+4 agi and +6 sta) and that equates to:
43 agi
30 sta
8 int
60 AP

Compare that to the eyepatch and you'll see the difference.

I have to say as a 67 hunter myself that this is in fact...a shammy piece,hunters should get Stalker's Helm from SMV,easier to get,and better for hunters.I hope that fellow hunters agree with me :)

For anyone looking to get this transmog in 9.1.5, you need to do the following quest chains in order to get the Showdown quest. Starting with a drop from the ogres within Bladespire Hold.
