Wow, those are nice stats, even comparable to t6. the 3 red sockets make it for dps: either 3x 10 agi or 3x 16 ap. Pattern is BOE, so guilds will probably put it up on AH after theirs leatherworkers have all obtained the pattern. Mats are easy to get, just run a few heroics for some primals and farm some primal fires.

I am a leatherworker and I absoloutely love this gear, however I am quite tight with my money. Primal Mights are ludicrously expensive and so are primal nethers so I wouldn't be banking on being able to get one of these any time soon, additionally the recipie isn't particually easy to get =P.

How close is the trash that drops this to the start of the instance? Are there many adds? I'm thinking of trash farming.

Apparently the pattern is a trash mob drop from a 25 man Sunwell raid. And it can be sold, though you have to craft it yourself to wear the armor.

I keep looking for this and the barrel - blade longrifle (now BoE) in the Cenarius auction house. No luck at all yet....not counting on either.

I have two gathering skills now; but if I bought this armor pattern, I'd drop herbology and level up leatherworking to 350 just to equip it. EXCELLENT armor.
It would be worth it to me.

Are you sure, because i've heard just the opposite. I've been hearing that the chestpiece itself is BoP, but that the recipe can be traded or sold. Well, not really sure because i don't know one person as of yet who's actually found this recipe yet, so i guess it's all speculation until someone actually finds this pattern.

Is there more info on this item or pattern? eg. where does the pattern drop? Or will it become available through rep with one of the new factions like the shattered sun? (havnt seen it there yet but my realm (Alonsus)is just at 84% atm.)

Any ideas why only LW 365 is required? it is one of the best chestpieces for hunters. there are lower ranked chestpieces which require 375LW + specialism like the Ebon netherscale breastplate Ebon Netherscale Breastplate
