But also, the questgiver, Bloodmage Drazial, states that "while the immediate effect is a titanic burst of strength, the long term effects on your spirit and intelligence could be hazardous."

I've never used this item, but it seems that there might be a follow-up debuff that holds true for this item's real-life counterpart as well.

Roids is a shortened name used in place of anabolic steroids. I guess that's why it gives 25 str.

it kinda gives sence since steroids makes ya stronger (but are ekstremely unhealthy)
it kinda mixes with the rest of the stuff that gives buff all steroids ;-D why did ya think you should
collect ANIMAL parts (since steroids can be made from animal stuff XD)

What about the side effects to Intelligence and Spirit that the quest giver mentions after you complete the quest. Does anyone know if they are real?

Right-clicking on the buff won't stop the "Testicular Shrinkage" debuff. For female characters, this is also known as the "Flat, Hairy Chest" debuff.

OMG, those people that say, "You must be appropriate at all times, there are children who play this game too you know." STFU. We're givin kids Roids? I remember buddies in highschool who took "R.O.I.D.S."
and too had increased strength for a moments time, but high-pitched voices for a lifetime. lol. kids game my @$$

You can only carry one of these at a time... meaning you cannot have more than one in your bags at the same time... I guess if you wanted you could use one, and then keep the second in your bags, but not worth it if you are protecting other buffs.

Blasted lands buffs:

-Can only carry one of each type. You can redo the quest when you have used the item.
-On use, you get a buff lasting 1h, lost upon death. All blasted lands items get a 1h CD. The CD does not reset if you die.
-They do NOT stack.
-They also do NOT stack with Zandalar buffs, aka the three types of flasks you can trade a bijou for.
