Just found one right outside of ZF.

At high levels (i was 61 when i did this), the best place bar none to pick them up is Jinthalor in The Hinterlands. going up and going down (whilst farming ghost mushrooms) i picked up 34 purple Lotus's there in about 45 mins.
(obviously, not much use if you cant walk past the mobs there tho....)

you can also find Purple Lotus inside Satyrnaar in Ashenvale if u are itching for a fight. 2 grow behind the altar

Boocoo of them in Ruins of Ravenwind in Feralas. 48-50 harpies defend the place. Drop 2-4s and vibrant plumes like hotcakes. Picked up 6 purlple lotus and 9 plumes in a 20 minute quest.

What I've found is if there are ruins, such as the troll ruins in Stranglethorn Vale and The Hinterlands, and well as a few like Southmoon Ruins in Tanaris, that's where they are most likely located at. I did happen to find a few sparce ones in Ashenvale, but the two previously mentioned territories are better bets.

Teere is always one in Zoram Strand Ashenvale.
South of BFD dungeon
Easy since mobs of low level there.

I found that one of the best places to find Purple Lotus is around the Ruins of Isildien in the High Wilderness of Feralas. Everytime I always find at least 3 or 4 of them scattered around there.

I have found spawns for this at the Furbolg Village Northeast of Astranaar (where you have to kill Dar whats-his-name the blue-grey furbolg for the Astranaar quest) as well as in the area with furbolgs right to the west of Astranaar (north of the road, near the ruined columns). I have found a spawn of it in Satyrnaar as well in front of the Red Crystal monument thing where you get the Chalice of Elune for that Forest Song quest.

(Also, I have seen at least one spawn near each of the three ogre-infested ruins in Tanaris.)

I've heard any old elven ruins has a chance to have some of this around.

Can be found in Felwood between Jaedenar and ruins of Constellas. Just let the demons and bears fight among themselves, walk in and take the herbs :-)

Commonly found around most mid to late zone, ruin structures.
Super easy to farm in these areas, and not really in high demand despite being used for a few decent recipes.
