After stepping through the Dark Portal, Alliance players will be sent to Honor Hold, the Alliance Stronghold in Hellfire Peninsula. Honor Hold quests are practically a necessity, to gain reputation with the
Bastion de l'Honneur faction. You'll need Revered with Honor Hold to purchase the
Clé en flammes forgées if you intend to do Heroic Dungeons in Hellfire Citadel.
Quests in Honor Hold will send you to The Legion Front, nearby Forge Camps, the Invasion Point north of Honor Hold, and Zeth'Gor. After completing quests in Honor Hold, Alliance players will then venture to Temple of Telhamat near the north western portion of Hellfire Peninsula. Once quests are completed there, the final stop for Alliance players in the Cenarion Post.
When Burning Crusade Classic first releases, this will be a heavily trafficked area by players and it will be extremely difficult to complete quests such as
Le Chemin de l'angoisse,
Les charognards gangr'orcs,
Mauvais présages,
Faut pas gâcher, and
Mission : La saillie abyssale. With so many players trying to complete the same quests (of which only 1 small area spawns these mobs), it will be a nightmare trying to quest here on day one of Burning Crusade Classic. For many players that have been playing Classic throughout Phases 1-6 and have Naxxramas gear, it might be a better option to skip Hellfire Peninsula and Honor Hold entirely, and head straight to Zangarmarsh.
