The Akkiris Lightning-Waker is a subboss in the Skyriss fight. It is the 3rd prisoner released. It has a secondary Hurricane ability that should be avoid.

If you kill it fast enough, there will be a brief moment where the party exits combat and can drink.

During this fight, Mages can spellsteal the magic shield he puts on himself, so all your caster dps doesn't get reduced by 50% for 30 seconds. The shield also helps on the healer because his chain lightning ability does less damage to the mage.

If you don't have a mage, have a priest dispel it or a shaman purge it.

Going through this on heroic for the first time tonight my group had some problems with this boss. Paladin tank (me) and druid healer. On the blink/agro wipe the boss would run straight for the druid. If I taunted it off the druid, it would be on me for a few seconds, then back onto the druid. I put BoP on the druid, and it was safe for a few more seconds... then right back onto the druid.

We wiped this way for 3 or 4 tries. Last attempt I guess we just got lucky, mob agro'd the mage, I taunted and it stuck to me the rest of the fight.

So long story short, the agro seems really random and wonky... don't give up :)

Random mini boss before Harbringer Skyriss, has AoE dmg hits for about 12-1500, is buffed by a spell that reduces all magical dmg given to him by 50%. Mages can spellsteal it from him, makes the fight go much easier. This guy also teleports to a random party member not so often, but be prepared. Easy fight in all, as long as DPS keeps it steady and tank holds aggro.
