Found him twice, both times in Alterac Mountains. The first time, he was with 2 others in the small cave in between the Ruins of Alterac and Strahnbrad. He dropped the Pacifier the first time. The second time I found him, he was in Crushridge Hold, but dropped only the Boulder Pads.

It's so hard to find this guy. The respawn rate must be incredibly slow or lots of people farm him (Mannoroth server).

I saw him in his cave as a lvl 56 pally i killed him easy and he drop The Pacifier. He was at 47,33. I'm sure he is on a 24 hours as I never saw him for next 4 hours when i was mining mithril and iron then came back later and still never there and check dozens of time.

killed him twice and got the mboots dropped on both occasions, sold pretty well at AH for 3 gold a piece, he's also pretty easy compared to all the other named mobs around that area altho they are elites (killed him two days in a row so guessing he spawns every 12 - 24 hours)

Cancel that request...here's the hunter's guide to hunting the one called Lo'Grosh.

No. 1: He's NOT a yeti, its a 2 headed ogre.

No. 2: He's a Silver Elite..d'oh! All named mobs are unless they are true elites, which spawn at regular intervals.

No. 3: He spawns in the lower cave in Crushridge Hold, where the non-elite orges in Northeastern Alterac Mountains is. The lower cave's co-ordinates are (49,45).

No. 4: The actual spawn point is deep in the cave, where there is a wide space. There is a single Crushridge ogre/brute that patrols up there. This is the southern part of the cave, not the east. The co-ordinates for the spawn location are (52,49) approximately.

No. 5: I would recommand being level 37 to attack him, 36 if you have to, but no lower because he casts a fire shield that reflects damage (like thorns) back at you for a bit of damage. When I attacked him, I had the patroller as an add, but was able to solo him as a tauren druid 37 without any problems.

he is definitly in the big cave southern part where most bosses are in caves with the same shape.

it dropped me a shoulder i want that mace for stats :P well im checking if i can figure out its spawntime cuz im sure its at least 12 hours took me 3 days b4 i saw him! GL finding him :)

I know somoene that killed him this morning and he dropped the mace along with another blue weapon (not the boots... another weapon). Possible world drop? He put them on the AH. One of them sold immediately. He mines the area alot and has never seen Lo'Grosh until this morning. He was on very early this morning. Maybe the early bird catches the Lo'Grosh.

killed him a week ago with my lvl 34 rogue.
He is not that hard, for a rogue. just stunlock him and kick. i had to use 1 healing potion and 1 tea. But he droped the boots and i sold it for 12g :-).
I wasn't looking for him. He is in the cave as somebody posted before.

When does this guy spawn?

i have been going up to alterac for a month now w/ my 2 mains on 2 different servers at just about every time and i can't seem to find him.

I have a very long story about this guy. I went in the cave that he's in, hunting for ogres (for the quest) and mithril and iron. There was a group of two people there killing ogres, and there was an iron deposit. I asked them if they wanted the iron, and just after I asked Lo'Groth appeared. He was wearing red instead of blue, had two heads, and was lvl 39, so I figured something good would drop. I was lvl 36, and it was real easy killing him. He dropped the boots, which I'm told sell for about 20g (I killed him just today, so they're in AH at the moment cause I can't use mail). This guy is an average spawn, meaning he only spawns every 21-32 hours. I had no idea he existed until I saw him there XD I feel so lucky. I'm on the Eldre'Thalas server, Dwarf hunter named Calawyn. Message me sometime for SM, I love that instance.

i looked for him yesterday and couldnt find him, and for those of you who diss the boots, you should know: those boots are the best for a level 39 warrior out of all the boots that exist

wohoo today i killed him in alterac (14/5/06) and he left pacifier 17g in AH! i was farming there from lvl 36 to 42(i am now 42 and i got this) and i saw him for the first time! too rare

Thought this guy was a myth. Found him today (7-10-06). Stormrage server, dropped the pads :(. Keep trying I guess. GL to all in search of him. Oh and btw I found him in the cave to the north called Slaughter Hollow.

i just solo'd him on my 34 rogue with no gloves and cruel barb offhand haha. just pop evasion and kick him everytime he casts.

I killed him today with my 39 paladin. Incredibly easy. Note that THE LARGER CAVE IS NOT THE ONLY ONE HE SPAWNS IN. I found him in the smaller one.

He only dropped the useless shoulder pads. :-(

I was searching for days and weeks for this rare spawns with my 70 mage, cause i want the boots for my 39 twink warrior, he didnt spawned, i needed to go offline a day, i asked my mate 70 shaman to look for him if he has time..
He saw him spawning in the south cave just @ 19:00
But it's a random spawn not a exact timer. He dropped the green shoulders, damn

Sorry I forgot to take the screenshot before I killed him. When you get in the cave just hug the right wall, he's not to far in, and he just stands there. REALLY REALLY easy to kill for a 39 elite. I killed him in like 5 seconds and only lost like 15% of my health in cat form. And thats with some other ogre hitting me from behind. (i'm a 39 feral druid) Happy hunting!

The lvl 39 is just in the cave in the right saide its really z to kill. i'm lvl 36 paladin and i owned him like ez the it take it ike 12 hours to spawn after you kill it.

Since July 4th, 2007, my hunter (who is now level 57) has killed Lo'Grosh seven times. I have always found him in the southernmost cave. He spawns in different locations inside the cave. If you are a hunter you can track him with the humanoid tracking skill. Whenever I am in the area I check the cave. I have so far obtained 2 pacifiers, three black ogre kickers and two shoulders (lousy shoulders). But the pacifier is the best human pally weapon (gave on to my pally alt) until Mograine's Might (which I have in bank). Happy hunting. Might sell second Pacifier if anyone is interested on Detheroc server. Whisper me at Molekstomm.

yer i went there yesterday with my lvl 70 war and i had found him after about 3 weeks but he only dropped boulder pads :((( im gonna look for him some more i wat the pacifier soooooooo much lol

GM just told me there is multiple spawn points for this mob, just wondering if anyone had cords for any other spawn spots other then in the cave. been in it for past 2 weeks killing every mob at all sorts of different hours of the day

Ive been trying to get the boots so ive been going up there 24/7 ive found him twice in total both in the same spot and hes dropped the shoulders and the mace :(

i belive he spanws a LOT less then he used to be, when i was lv 44 i even farmed the guy, i got the boots like 8 times and the mace maybe even 20 times, but now while levelling an other char i havnt saw him even once

had a run in with him, but wasnt able to kill him with my 35 druid and a caster with me. Fire shield is a bit**, and he was dead in the middle of all the other ogres both times we fought him.

Been hunting him for near a month. Just found him today
(5-1-08) I recommend using "Track Humanoid" if you have it. He DOES appear on it... He dropped the Blue boots... black ogre kickers. Found him in the big cave wandering around XD

He's on a 72 hour respawn timer... just killed him monday at 12h35 pm and today thursday at 1 pm... got him in 2 different places in the big cavern like most people were talking about.

First time he dropped shoulders, second time boots.

Killed him tonight while I was farming the ogres. I thought he is very hard but easily killed him with my lvl 34 mage. Dropped the boots and a crap green ring.

Well what can i say...... Been lookin for this dude for a long time. He finally showed up when i was on me 61 hunt. When i saw him i could imagine that pacifier in my invy. I was so excited....wadda ya know the crappy shoulders drop. I wanted to kill someone after that lol.

I found him in a cave, marked here on the map. He was in the middle of it,39 elit, I killed him with my 35 pala,solo. But he didn't drop the mace. I'll come back and try again...

I was super lucky today i guess in terms of finding him. I just saw The Pacifier in the AH, and got a glimpse of an old memory how much i loved that weapon so i decided to go to do some quests in Alterac. I'm a 33 Paladin, was heading down to the bigger cave at 45-49, got to the last room, and ta da! He spawned right in front of my eyes. I actually had no problem soloing him but unfortunately he only dropped the green shoulderpads. :/ It was on EU-Ashbringer @21:09 today. Happy hunting.

I've been hunting this guy on Faerlina. The respawn time so far is between 20 to 24 hours. On this 4 hours interval I check regularly and found him there. I found on other websites that the respawn is 21-32 ( can't confirm yet). Also I found him on the smaller cave (Slaughter Hollow) , in the middle of the lower cave ( Crushridge Hold ) and at the end of the cave too. Seems like he have 3 spawn points.

Looked in the small southern cave @ around 52/46 where he is shown on questie and could not find, went into the northern cave at 48/34 and he was just inside the entrance. Sadly dropped the pads instead of the pacifier I am looking for, but seems he can spawn in both locations.

I have some interesting data for all of you hunting this (very rare) Rare:

The data is for TBC classic. I farmed him 10 times between 05.06.2021 and 09.07.2021 on my server Lucifron (ger).
If you can afford to place any 35+ stealth class there you will have most success with your hunt, at least thats what i did. I farmed him for the 2h mace for my 39 twink druid and pally. Since many things are already known about Logrosh, i will just give you the exact time, location and loot (this is most interesting anyway!):

05.06.21 (11:37): Ogre Kickers @ 53.9/46
07.06.21 (12:44): Shoulders @ 53.9/46
11.06.21 (08:48): Shoulders @ 51.1/48.5
12.06.21 (12:51): Ogre Kickers @ 53.9/46
13.06.21 (15:03): Shoulders @ 47.6/35.1
14.06.21 (23:04): Ogre Kickers @ 52.3/45.2
17.06.21 (08:48): Mace @ 51/48
25.06.21 (13:07): Shoulders @ 52.4/46.3

Well, from my experience his spawn time is between 24 and 28 hours. Once i killed him, i logged in again every hour. I never catched him before 24 hours went by. But I was able get him after 24+4, 24+3 and 24+8 hours, respectively (see 12.-14.06). Also the drop chance for the mace is like 10% so make sure YOU are the one on your server slaying him. Keep also in mind that he was 1/10 in the smaller cave @ 47.6/35.1! I placed a second stealth class there and checked the big cave and the small one every hour for weeks. What suprised me most was that he was all over the place in that big cave. In every of the three ends of the tunnels, on top of the small hill in the middle of the cave or even walking around with the other mobs. Everytime i finally killed him, i made screenshots :)

I hope this "guide" gives you better chances to get the mace. Its awsome for 39 druid/pally/warr/sham especially if theres no PoD available on your AH. My warr and sham got the pod already but its more rare than Logrosh these days and also way too expensive. If you guys need help finding Lo, just pn me on my main Paintotem (Lucifron) and I`m happy to help you out.

Okay, these drop % must be wrong. I'm farming this dude for the ogre kickers as they are my Twink 39 BIS. This is the 10th time I've killed him and I'm only getting the pads. I think the drop rate described here must be wrong. How could I add my 10 drops to the count?
