It isn't worth the mats to get any of this armor when you can easily do quests or run instances to get better pieces.

do you have to do this in sequence via. 1 then 2 then 3....or can u do them in any order..i have vol 2 and it keeps telling me that i dont meet the requirements for the quest. and no im not currently on the quest either i checked.

ok you guys all talk nonsense, yes if you combine the pages you get a book which starts a smithingquest, but nowhere on the recipes that you recieve does it say the words, and i quote "Requires Armorsmithing" so you just need to have 300 blacksmithing to learn the plans!

You only have to be 300 blacksmith specializing to be armorsmith to put the books together. One half drops in BRS and I lost roll on the other half in Strat (can't remember if was living or ud) a couple of days ago.

it is created from the top and bottom halves. I have both and currently have the quest. Have to talk to Lorekeeper Lydros in DM(library in ogre side I believe), then I hear he just gives you the plans...easy as that.

I'll try and update here about it, but most of it will be on my website

What level is this 300 armorsmith? and if so do u have to have 300 armorsmith to get get the plans or is 50 only requirement?

By the looks of this book and the fact that it says it carries the mark of the Athenaeum, I would guess it drops in Dire Maul. It much resembles the Class Specific Trinket books you find there.

Just a thought naturally.

this bok is the result of combining 2 halfs ,the bottom half drops in UBRS off the mini named in the first room up above the Rockery Goraluk Anvilcrack...not sure where the other half drops though
