I'm working on getting this for my 59 warrior twink atm, not having a level req is pretty handy :p

The farming is a bit of a drag though, 3300 bone frags/crypt fiend parts/savage fronds + 3300 savage fronds/dark iron scraps/core of elements. Gotta wonder at people's dedication to getting this pre-bc.

Darkmoon Amulet

10 str = 20 AP + 0.5 blocked
19 agi = 0.95% crit + 0.95% dodge + 38 armor.

For a dps warrior, the medallion is slightly better than the darkmoon amulet. A warrior gains 20 life, 4 attack power, 0.05% crit,

while loses the following non-dps-related stats:
0.95% dodge chance, 0.5 block amount, 38 armor.

A rogue switching to MoTD will gain 20 life 0.33% crit, and lose 9AP, 38 armor, 1.31% dodge.

Now the question is, why is Darkmoon Amulet clocked at ilvl 65, and Medallion of the Dawn is only at ilvl 60? I say buff its stat and make it ilvl 65 so I can get a full upgrade from my darkmoon amulet.

I for one loooove the formulas. I just don't trust them sometimes as you people and your math is sometimes pretty off. And the only person crapping this tread by ripping on a guy who had no information yet on how to get the item is you. So shut it and leave.

I think I would still take the Darkmoon neck because, while I might get a little bit more dps, I do have to dodge when I'm in pvp. so I'd hate to loose that almost full point of dodge.

For PVE Rogue Darkmoon is better.

Darkmoon = 29AP, 1.31 Dodge, 0.65 Crit and 100 Health

Dawn = 24 AP , 0% Dodge, 1%crit, 120 HP

Is there a level requirement for this quest? or do you only have to be level 50 and have the Argent Dawn Commission?

For a hunter this crushes the Darkmoon Amulet. The STR is worthless, and the crit is worth 52.5 AGI. Add in the gorgeous 12 STA and 24 AP and this baby takes the cake.

Now for the endless grind to get it...

Getting AD rep is easy after you get the Argent Dawn Trink that lets you pick up stones.

With all the Scholo and Strat Dead run you need to make to get your class armor helm, boots, gloves and legs you will be revered in no time. Not to mention the numerous 45 min runs you will attempt.

They combined Will of the Martyr and The Mark of Fordring into one item. For hunters, this is godly.

Amulet of Darkmoon:
In cat form, AP is 1xAGI + 2xSTR = +39 ATK with ~1% chance to crit.

True, for bearform, you lose 2 stamina, but you're gaining almost 40 armor from the AGI.

IMO....for feral, use your tokens for the bracers.

For Druid's Darkmoon is better, imho.

It gives +100hp, 0.95%crit, 0.95%dodge, and 49AP in cat / 20 bear.

The faire necklace is hardly any effort at all imo... buy ~1000 thorium bars off AH (200g) and ~300 runecloth (15-20g) and feed them to your closest engineer friend. That'll yield you ~900 tickets.

The first 300 tickets you'll get from 130 vibrant plumes which are easily grinded in a night.

THIS neck however takes craploads of grinding :/

Is it worth the effort? definitely better than reward from the faire and took about the same amount of effort... depends on how far your AD rep is.

thats barely beter then mark of fordring so no itsnot worth it
