when your in skettis, you use these to see Time-Lost Skettis Priests near the little red portals in the camps. it seemed like when they got taken away from the portal they healed, but i could be mistaken.

These have a duration of 15 minutes. What seems to work best is to farm the Time Lost Scrolls in a group of 2; a healer and a DPS class. The healer doesn't even need to use a potion.

On the 2.2 PTR the effect duration has been increased to 20 min and now persists through death.

Just a note, if your buff runs out, you have to gather 6 more dust to get a new one.

You need them to be able to see the ghost realm and make kills in order to retrieve Time-Lost Scroll.

You need 10 of them to activate the bone piles and summon the three NPCs needed to complete the quest Secrets of the Talonpriests.

just to be clear, if you die you lost the effect, i don't know how, but i didn't see that coming. anyway, just trying to help ensure that no one just lets themselves die to escape battle and still expect to keep the effect this elixir gives, like i did.

I believe that zoning out of Skettis before the timer is up removes the effect as well.

the "Elixir of Shadows" buff you get lasts for 15 mins.

Tested on PTR, lasts 20 minutes and persists through death.

I don't know what you were using, but Elixir of Shadows did not persist through death on two separate occasions today.

- You collect 6 pieces of dust.
- Turn that in for 1 shadow pot.
- Drink the pot and you can now see the ghosts.
- Kill the ghosts and loot the time scrolls.
- Gather 40 scrolls or more.
- Place 10 scrolls at each bone pile i skettis to summon. (3 party quest).
- Loot the quest fragment (quest: https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/quest=11072/lignées-antagonistes)

Note: Only one player can get the quest item even if you're in a party with others who has the quest. Usually the deal is, the summoner gets the fragment, all roll for loot.

If you die the effect of the pot wears off.

After you get your 40x Time Lost Scrolls. Is there any need for this? (of course you can still turn in powders for rep, but is the any need for the elixir itself after that?)
