IIRC there is a ogre in nagrand named kyle, who say he is hungry.

It's for a quest in Mulgore :). You need to feed the dog of an ill man and you need to kill a plainstrider for it :), then this drops as a Q item

Blizzard made this quest for a boy who had terminal cancer. They invited him into their main office and he was allowed to make a quest (this one) design a weapon and was given a boost to level 70 and given epic armour. Very generous of Blizzard

The player in question was a 10 year old boy in America named Evan Phoenix (Yes that is his middle name) Chatterton, or something like that, who played together with his father on the same tauren hunter character Ephoenix.

As well as terminal cancer, he did have a string of bad luck including his father's house burning down along with all his toys and his parents getting a divorce.

Through the "Make a Wish Foundation", he wished to have a meeting with Blizzard and to be able to design some stuff in the game to leave as a legacy after he passed away. He enjoyed playing WoW as he could make friends with everyone around the world and have fun despite his ailments.

On his day at Blizzard, he got to design this quest in Mulgore. The quest NPC has his vocal recordings and the dog in the quest is named after his real life dog. Blizzard also power-levelled Ephoenix to 70, gave him full epic gear and the Arena Season 2 crossbow is attributed to him.

Please show this kid a modicum of respect and don't start spamming the usual Thottbot "OMG LOLZ HunterWaepan!11one one."

They could have made the drop rate a bit better, ive killed about 20 mobs and not one single meat has dropped!

LAL, that drop chance isn't good. The drop chance is on 99% or something. It dropped first time i killed a Plainstrider.

omg... drop rate sucks so bad! i heard of this quest and came to mulgore to do it (im a 70 druid). i killed every single plainstrider in mulgore and finally i decided it had to be bugged... abandoned and picked it up again, but no luck. killed the whole zone again and no drop (like 40 mins of running around). so im very sorry but im dropping the quest! too bad.. i wanted to see how it ended.
